Chris is a Chartered Professional Engineer, in PNG as well as Australia, and a Registered Professional Engineer Queensland.
Mr Matthew Bennett – Director (Services)
Matthew is a qualified dual trade electrical instrument fitter that has over 20 years’ experience in mining, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and commercial industries.
Matthew holds the following qualifications:
- Diploma in Management
- Lead Auditor in WHS & Quality Management Systems
- Integrated Governance, Risk Management & Compliance
- Cert IV Training & Assessment
- QMS 123 – Qualified Supervisors Certificate
- Electrical Trade
- Instrumentation Trade
He is also an Accredited Queensland Hazardous Areas Auditor, an Accredited Queensland High Voltage Auditor, a Radiation Safety Officer & Use Licence, and a Papua New Guinea (PNG) Mine Electrician.
Matthew is a specialist on strategic and management planning, Quality and OHS auditing, risk and drives to challenge the current training and learning systems in the electrical industry and develop more relevant and accessible solutions for the modern electrical worker and to embrace technology to expand knowledge, improve skills and ensure electrical worker safety.
Mr Ben Knight
Ben is a degree qualified electrical engineer with over 5 years of professional experience in the design, execution and commissioning of engineering projects. Ben has developed solutions for mining, materials handling, power utility and commercial sectors.
Ben’s qualifications include:

He has a sound technical knowledge in most aspects of electrical and instrumentation design, particularly for process plants. Ben has a broad range of capabilities from electrical and arc flash studies to developing / optimising plant operating philosophies and software development.
In particular, his strong process understanding, experience in instrumentation and innovative approach always proves a very valuable asset to any client.
Mr Michael Yacoub
Michael is a degree qualified electrical engineer has over 13 years of professional experience in the design, execution and commissioning of engineering projects. Michael has developed solutions for mining, power & water utility and industrial sectors.
Michaels ’s qualifications include:
- BE (Honours), University of Auckland
- Registered Engineer, PNG
He is particularly strong in designing, commissioning mining process plants and HV substations, including generation systems. Michael has designed and commissioned challenging large scale industrial projects throughout Asia, Canada, USA and PNG.
